Male Preening gestures: Does scratching himself count?

I was having a conversation with a guy when he started scratching his chest. I've heard that when a guy brushes off imaginary lint/dust off his shoulders or readjusts his clothing, runs his fingers through his hair, he likes the woman he's talking to. Does scratching himself count?
