Should I get snakebite lip ring piercings with my pain tolerance?

So at the dentist they gave me 3 shots in my gums. But they rubbed numbing candy 10 seconds before. On the 3rd one, my eyes started tearing up. Not like dripping down my face, but like my eyes were shiny. If my pain tolerance is like that, could I get snakebite lip ring piercings ?
