I think you both working at the same place is making things worse. It sounds like you could use some time apart. Stay with one of your friends for a few days and see what happens. Maybe he will miss you and change. A more subtile approach would be trying to make plans both of you can agree on. Rent a movie and watch it together, or go out to dinner. If he doesn't want to get off the computer at that point I'd just walk up to him with a suitcase and say Im going to stay with my friend for a few days. Judging by his reaction you should see how much he cares about the relationship.
